Islamic Studies (SUNDAYS): We use the Let's Learn Islam curriculum series to teach students about Seerah, basic Fiqh, Morals, Manners & also 'Aqidah.
Kids learn Sunnah du'as they can use in daily life, the attributes of Allah, and explore the meanings of oft-recited short surahs. |
Quran (TUESDAYS & THURSDAYS): Our Quran Classes are spear-headed by the world-renowned Qari, Hafidh Imraan Fakier (see below). We have the BASIC LEVEL Class to teach the Arabic alphabet, correct pronunciation of the letters & vowels, how to join letters & connect words.
Our INTERMEDIATE LEVEL Class to teach the rules of Tajweed, that is how to articulate the letters and extend the vowels with clarity & precision. |
For High School Students: Teens age 13+ will get to learn directly from Madina Institute's Online Deen Academy for Islamic Studies sessions. They will focus on Seerah and how to apply teachings from the life of Rasulallah صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وسلم in the present day; Hadith; and Tafsir of Surah Al-Imran.
This will engage them on a deeper level than normal "Sunday School" programs and also helps prepare them for lifelong learning. For more information about this portion of our program, click here. |
