Our Religious Director and Imam

Religious Director - Hafiz Muhammad Shafique started his work at Al Qur’an in 2000. He memorized the Quran at the age of 20 under the renowned hifz teacher Hafiz Khadim Hussain Sahib. He received his Bachelor’s degree from Punjab University in Lahore, Pakistan and his law degree from the Department of Islamic Shariah and Law at the International Islamic University in Islamabad, Pakistan. After graduation, Hafiz Shafique periodically lectured at various law colleges and went on to be appointed the Deputy Registrar of Mohiuddin Islamic University in Azad, Kashmir.
Imam - Hafiz Qari Warfa Dualeh has memorized the whole Quran under Sheikh Said Duale of Darul Quran Institute, starting at the age of 10 and finishing his first Khatmah at 13. In addition to memorizing the Quran, he has studied Tajweed and has begun studying the Qira’at of the Quran. He has experience in leading Taraweeh and other prayers, having started at the age of 14, in locations all over Tennessee, starting in Nashville, and other states across America, such as Alabama and Ohio. He has taught for several years at Al-Farooq Islamic Center, as a teacher, teaching young children and adults how to read and write Arabic, and also as an assistant teacher alongside the Sheikh Said Duale as well. Recently, he has been studying in Egypt.
